A milestone birthday - Brooklyn Event Photographer

When a Jewish boy turns 13, a loving community comes together to celebrate the child becoming a bar mitzvah. It was so nice to see the smiles and laughs of this accomplished young man as he celebrated accomplishing this milestone amongst his proud parents, adoring relatives and close friends.

Family Smiles + Love in the North Fork, Long Island - NYC Family Photographer

I love when my Brooklyn Families travel and I meet up with them in a new location. That’s what happened with these long-term family clients of mine. So much to discover the North Fork more through my camera lens. And from the results…they had some fun with me too!

Family Fun in St. Nicholas Park, Harlem - NYC Family Photographer

I have photographed this lovely + fun family in the Fall every year. It is so nice to see the growth and development of these spunky kids year to year. What a joy to be a witness to it all. And its an extra bonus that I’ve known their dad since high school!

To Brooklyn With Love - Brooklyn Family Photographer

When a family decides to move from their beloved Brooklyn home to another city, its so special when they decide to say good-bye by having a farewell family photography session. That’s what this gorgeous family did recently right before they headed west. When you leave…you realize that NYC never leaves you. Its a city that touches your heart deeply. Once a New Yorker always a New Yorker.

A time to celebrate - Brooklyn Event Photographer

Its always a time to celebrate…especially major milestones like a bar and bat mitzvah. With Covid, I have gotten to photograph some amazing alternative bar/bat mitzvahs. Although they were smaller than originally planned, they were intimate and full of love. And so very memorable.

A family of 3 becomes 4 - NYC Family Photographer

I love when a family expands by welcoming a new and precious baby into their home. Now with 2 daughters, this mom and dad are so very grateful. They know that they are creating such a fulfilling and fantastic life together as a proud family of 4!  And you really can't beat those smiles!

A fond farewell to Brooklyn - NYC Portrait Photographer

When this family decided to relocate back to Europe, they wanted to commemorate their special time in Brooklyn with a memorable family photo session. These portraits capture the neighborhood they grew to love, the memories they created and the unique time in their lives. What a wonderful visual memory to have forever and look at fondly.

Even Photographers Need to Hire a Family Photographer - NYC Family Photographer

I’ve known this woman, a fellow photographer, for years. She’s been photographing portraits professional but, like all busy professionals, she has rarely gotten her own family (with herself included) captured. Now, a mother of 3, she got emotional when she saw her newest family portraits for the first time. Through seeing these portraits, it really hit her that she was a mom (for real!)…and these precious 3 kids’ mom. Now, she can proudly display her family portraits around her home that showcase their entire happy family. For this, she is forever grateful.

Boys, Boys, Boys - NYC Family Photographer

When you are a single parent, you are rarely photographed with your children. You are absent from your family and children’s own visual history. That’s why it is so important to hire a professional photographer. I, too, have an annual photo session with my children. It is such a gift to have beautiful portraits of my children and I. I cherish all my family portraits and so will you.

Dumbo with Love - Brooklyn Family Photographer

Dumbo is filled with cobblestone streets and converted Brooklyn warehouse buildings. It is the backdrop for independent boutiques, high-end restaurants and trendy cafes as well as being the heart of a thriving performance and gallery scene. The north end of Brooklyn Bridge Park features historic Jane’s Carousel as well as picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline. Amongst all of that….there are families who are raising children here in a very unique way. Like this wonderful family who walks past these great NYC vistas every day on the way to their local playground. They work, they play but they always call Dumbo home. What a way to live!
