Play Time at Treasure Trunk Theatre - NYC Event Photographer

When Elisa Pupko hired me to photograph the Grand Opening of her newest Treasure Trunk Theatre location (Park Slope)...I was thrilled! A morning with kids having fun, dancing, creating and laughing...that's my type of morning!!!

Perfect for kids under 10, Treasure Trunk Theatre's mission is for children to explore drama through imagination. In their classes, kids have fun with movement, music, theatre games and visual arts. My photos really capture all the fun Treasure Trunk Theatre creates for the kids!

With the engaging photographs, Elisa + her team are able to use the images to promote her business and its new activities on its Treasure Trunk Theatre website, its instagram page and on any marketing/promotional material.

It's essential to have timeless imagery at the ready for any business need.

Love at First Sight - Brooklyn Newborn Photographer

As I just dropped off my first born to college for the very first time last week, it is so sweet to photograph a couple who is starting out on their own journey as new parents. Our kids grow up so fast but this family will forever have these visual memories to remember all their first moments with their baby boy.

Bar Mitzvah Celebration Oh My! - Brooklyn Event Photographer

In the Jewish faith, the age of 13 is a milestone. Its a time of transition from childhood to adolescence and adulthood. For this family, turning 13 is a time to celebrate their son in the most special way…surrounded by family and joy. Congratulations Max! You made everyone proud.

Brooklyn Heights + Family Fun - Brooklyn Family Photographer

Sometimes its nice to take family portraits right in your own “backyard”. That’s what this family did when they suggested Brooklyn Heights as their special location. We photographed on their quaint brownstone-filled street and walked a block away to capture the beauty of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Brooklyn is the BEST!

A Star of the Family - Brooklyn Family Photographer

I love when I have quick and authentic connections with my clients. That’s what happened when I met this adorable boy upon first meeting. This was his first ever professional photo session - and he did FANTASTIC! He loved all the attention from me and all the love, cuddles and tickles he received from his parents throughout our time together. And, as an end result, his parents have fantastic portraits to cherish for a lifetime.

A milestone birthday - Brooklyn Event Photographer

When a Jewish boy turns 13, a loving community comes together to celebrate the child becoming a bar mitzvah. It was so nice to see the smiles and laughs of this accomplished young man as he celebrated accomplishing this milestone amongst his proud parents, adoring relatives and close friends.

Brotherly love in Brooklyn Park - Brooklyn Family Photographer

As a mom to two boys, I love witnessing the love and play between brothers! This duo love each other dearly and are thick as thieves. Their parents wouldn’t have it any other way.

Family Smiles + Love in the North Fork, Long Island - NYC Family Photographer

I love when my Brooklyn Families travel and I meet up with them in a new location. That’s what happened with these long-term family clients of mine. So much to discover the North Fork more through my camera lens. And from the results…they had some fun with me too!

To Brooklyn With Love - Brooklyn Family Photographer

When a family decides to move from their beloved Brooklyn home to another city, its so special when they decide to say good-bye by having a farewell family photography session. That’s what this gorgeous family did recently right before they headed west. When you leave…you realize that NYC never leaves you. Its a city that touches your heart deeply. Once a New Yorker always a New Yorker.

Let's Dance in Celebration - NYC Event Photographer

If you can’t readily be inside to celebrate a Jewish milestone, as Tim Gunn (of Project Runway fame) famously says “Make It Work”. I love that this family pivoted their bat mitzvah plans and celebrated in a low key but super fun way at a local park….Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was a beautiful day with a gorgeous backdrop. And the most happy bat mitzvah girl celebrating her enormous achievement with dear friends and family. To me, it was perfection.

A time to celebrate - Brooklyn Event Photographer

Its always a time to celebrate…especially major milestones like a bar and bat mitzvah. With Covid, I have gotten to photograph some amazing alternative bar/bat mitzvahs. Although they were smaller than originally planned, they were intimate and full of love. And so very memorable.

Why are Senior Portraits for High School Graduates So Important - Brooklyn Portrait Photographer

In most parts of the country, seniors celebrate this graduation milestone by having their Senior Portraits taken. It is a tradition year after year with each passing graduating class. Its a perfect way to memorialize this transition from high school teenager into young adult.

More than ever, it is important because in such an isolating year dominated by all things Covid, Senior Portraits are the best way to document a graduating senior’s journey so far and to celebrate it. It is the best time of their life to capture their youthful innocence and their unique personality. This portrait session also gives the senior dedicated time to feel special while the photo experience and portraits will increase their self-esteem and confidence.

The senior and their family will be able to look back on these important portraits with pride as they see visual evidence of how significant they were at this pivotal moment in their lives.
