Prior to relocating abroad, it was important for this mom and dad to celebrate their 8 month old daughter, their first family home and their beloved neighborhood through photography. Now they will always have these memorable portraits of their early beginnings as a young and growing family. These are moments to cherish forever. Special indeed!

I love when families come to NYC and want to celebrate their visit in a special way. That’s what this North Carolina family did recently. Way back when, these parents lived here for a number of years when they started out in their careers. Years later as they raised their kids in the South, they passed on their love for the Big Apple to their children. Now, with their graduating Senior…New York City was calling them back. It was the only destination they envisioned for their son - for his special Senior Portraits. We certainly hit it out of the park - these senior and family portraits are EPIC. And I am so honored that I was the one to record all the love and happiness.

I love photographing a fun bat mitzvah! And this one was epic. I always like to, first, photograph a private session of the with the 13 year old away from all the craziness of the special day. This sweet session allows us to get to know each other and it allows me to capture special portraits that the family can use in a curated slideshow and for the parents to remember this memorable age. Then comes the service - a milestone endeavor to achieve. Next comes the celebration…a time to party with loved ones - family and friends. It’s an emotional ride and I’m there for it all. And with this family….its always super lively, fun-filled and full of love.
