Branded Portraits are Essential if you want to Elevate your Presence - NYC Professional Headshot Photographer

Its undeniable...2017 was the Year of the Woman!  There was the historic Women's March on Washington (and all the other many cities around the world), the powerful Sally Yates testimony, the #MeToo movement and so much more.  Local Brooklynite Sally Hubbard, an investigative journalist, has been adding her energy to these pro-female efforts for years but has channeled her expertise with her special podcast Women Killing It!  Through interviews and real-life storytelling with the most fascinating women, Sally uncovers how women are killing it in their careers, about what has worked for them, how they got where they are today and what they wish they knew sooner.

I am pleased to add to Sally's success with my own photography talent.  Recently, she turned to me to refresh her Women Killing It! image.  A personal branding photography session is a very different experience than a traditional headshot session.  It is a modern & authentic way of marketing yourself and your unique services.  I truly think our collaboration was a huge success...we killed it!  I can't wait to see these new branded portraits in 2018 and to see Women Killing It! expand its reach.  Women Killing It! is a mentorship by podcast.  Its a must listen where women are helping women to unleash their superpowers at work!  Please visit Sally's podcast and learn:  http://www.womenkillingit.com/

It simply was a great day of hard but rewarding work on a recent Sunday. Thank you Prospect Heights! Your future is bright with these kids.

Kids in Need - NYC Photographer

It was a wonderful "back to school" experience across NYC on the very first day of school....especially for a wonderful group of Brooklyn school kids I photographed. The kids were gathered in the auditorium and awaited the BIG surprise. To their delight, The Kids In Need Foundation distributed backpacks and school supplies to every child at school. The excitement and smiles were contagious and I was so happy to be apart of it.

The Kids In Need Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. Studies show that when kids have school supplies of their own, classroom behavior and grades improve, self-esteem strengthens, and kids develop better attitudes toward school and learning.

A moment to remember - Brookyn family photography

This family loves the annual tradition of capturing this specific place in time with their family - the kids are growing so fast!  Everyone in the family loves having these special captured moments and looking at these photographs throughout their home.  As much as i-phone photos are convenient - it doesn't compare to the special-ness of professional family portraits.  For Mom and Dad, the relationship between their kids is simply amazing...they are in love and it's so beautiful to watch the relationship grow.  Their family's love is unique and contagious.  I wish this love and happiness for all the families that I photograph.

Mom's Love

When this girl's mom hired me....all she wanted me to do was to capture her daughter's special-ness.  She regrets not getting more professional photographs of her daughter when she was born now that her little girl is 2 1/2 years old.  She's growing like a weed and is now making up for lost time.  Mom wanted to use this session to shine a light on to her amazing daughter's sweetness and to see how her personality is captured on film.  This mother and daughter team are truly inseparable and she wanted to capture this specific time to remember always.

Precious Times - Brooklyn Family Photographer

As first time parents, this couple is a true partnership...learning on the job - the most important job of their lives.  These portraits capture the very moment of this special time and will bring back memories of the very moment where their sweet daughter's personality is really starting to shine through at 16 months old.  Precious times indeed.

Dumbo with Love - NYC Family Photographer

Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge Park always makes for a fantastic backdrop for a fabulous family photography session.  This awesome family didn't disappoint.  The kids acted like kids.  The parents held them close and made them smile with love.  And everyone had belly laughs...especially me.  There's nothing better than kids to show adults what an authentic moment is and what life is truly all about.

Superman & Brooklyn Bridge Park- NYC Family & Kid Photographer

I had the great pleasure of meeting this special and lovely family through a fantastic preschool in Bed Stuy.  This superman of a little boy is quite unique.  He has the women in his life wrapped around his finger and for good reason.  That smile....that laughter....that twinkle in his eye....All was in full display this beautiful morning over Memorial Day weekend in Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Memories captured for a lifetime!

Red Hook with love - NYC Family Photographer

I've been friends with this fun and funny family for 4 years now....once they moved in the apartment down the hall from me.  We have done so many things together...playdates, sledding, dinners and even an ongoing bookclub.  But this time together was the first time I captured them for an official family photography.  The results speak for themselves.  Red Hook...we love you!
