So much to be thankful for in this family and for these amazing and accomplished twin girls. Mazel tov!

It was so wonderful to photograph this sweet girl! I can't believe she is only 9! She's using these portraits for her casting call this weekend. Best of luck to her! And, as a bonus, her mom and dad get to cherish these beautiful portraits of their daughter at this very precious age.

Its always fun to meet up with a former high school friend and to see him in a new light. That's what happened when I photographed this husband/father and his family. To see how his life has shifted was a true joy. He is thriving as a dad and his kids adore him. He and his wife are a true team...raising wonderful kids that love one another. He is lucky for every day that he has. It was wonderful to witness that. Thank you.
What a fun family! Smiles and laughter throughout. But the most amazing aspect about this session, and a first for me, was that this adorable little girl walked for the first time. What a milestone. So honored to be a part of it.
Family is the most important thing in the world. You laugh, you cry, you embrace with each other and most important you love There's nothing better in life.
“Women, if the soul of the nation is to be saved, I believe you must become its soul.” - Coretta Scott King.
As we approach the 1st anniversary of The Women's March, I want to thank these amazing women & moms, as well as all the other women out there, who are raising strong & proud girls who are learning to be both seen and heard. Their voices really do matter. Their future is indeed bright and I can not wait to see how our nation will shift for the better.
Personal branding photography can have a huge impact on your business and your bottom line. This wonderful Brooklyn acupuncturist took this to heart when she hired me recently. You can use your branding photographs in several ways: place them throughout your website, use them in posts on your social media platforms, place them in your newsletters and e-blasts, use them in press releases about an event or new offering you have, refresh your profile pictures every few months so that people see a new image of you, place them in your sales and web-landing pages, submit an image along with your bio when you have a speaking engagement, put one in your email signature and use them in your printed marketing pieces. Investing in high-quality, authentic photography is required if you want your visuals to play a crucial role in delivering the personality of your brand.

Its undeniable...2017 was the Year of the Woman! There was the historic Women's March on Washington (and all the other many cities around the world), the powerful Sally Yates testimony, the #MeToo movement and so much more. Local Brooklynite Sally Hubbard, an investigative journalist, has been adding her energy to these pro-female efforts for years but has channeled her expertise with her special podcast Women Killing It! Through interviews and real-life storytelling with the most fascinating women, Sally uncovers how women are killing it in their careers, about what has worked for them, how they got where they are today and what they wish they knew sooner.
I am pleased to add to Sally's success with my own photography talent. Recently, she turned to me to refresh her Women Killing It! image. A personal branding photography session is a very different experience than a traditional headshot session. It is a modern & authentic way of marketing yourself and your unique services. I truly think our collaboration was a huge success...we killed it! I can't wait to see these new branded portraits in 2018 and to see Women Killing It! expand its reach. Women Killing It! is a mentorship by podcast. Its a must listen where women are helping women to unleash their superpowers at work! Please visit Sally's podcast and learn: http://www.womenkillingit.com/
Side by side or miles apart...sisters will always be connected by the heart.
Ended my holiday kid portrait series on an amazing high note. These authentic and happy faces of Brooklyn's next generation "brought it". All day long they made my laugh...they made me smile. It simply was a great day of hard but rewarding work on a recent Sunday. Thank you Prospect Heights! Your future is bright with these kids.

While my kids were at school today, I had a playdate with this cutie. An absolute scrumptious 7 month old! What a fun way to spend the afternoon!
Sometimes the best family photo sessions are right outside your apartment door, on your stoop and down your city block.
Nothing like female energy especially between a mother and her daughters. They are truly beautiful inside and out.
It was a wonderful "back to school" experience across NYC on the very first day of school....especially for a wonderful group of Brooklyn school kids I photographed. The kids were gathered in the auditorium and awaited the BIG surprise. To their delight, The Kids In Need Foundation distributed backpacks and school supplies to every child at school. The excitement and smiles were contagious and I was so happy to be apart of it.
The Kids In Need Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. Studies show that when kids have school supplies of their own, classroom behavior and grades improve, self-esteem strengthens, and kids develop better attitudes toward school and learning.

With 2 boys on the move (something I know a lot about), its oftentimes hard to get special photographs with the whole family. This is where I step in.
Nothing closer than sister love. I adore these sisters!
This family loves the annual tradition of capturing this specific place in time with their family - the kids are growing so fast! Everyone in the family loves having these special captured moments and looking at these photographs throughout their home. As much as i-phone photos are convenient - it doesn't compare to the special-ness of professional family portraits. For Mom and Dad, the relationship between their kids is simply amazing...they are in love and it's so beautiful to watch the relationship grow. Their family's love is unique and contagious. I wish this love and happiness for all the families that I photograph.
When this girl's mom hired me....all she wanted me to do was to capture her daughter's special-ness. She regrets not getting more professional photographs of her daughter when she was born now that her little girl is 2 1/2 years old. She's growing like a weed and is now making up for lost time. Mom wanted to use this session to shine a light on to her amazing daughter's sweetness and to see how her personality is captured on film. This mother and daughter team are truly inseparable and she wanted to capture this specific time to remember always.
